A romantic wedding took place in my lovely island Sifnos last week. Stevi&Gio, a beautiful couple, got married in Panagia Chrisopigi which is the patron saint of the island and a famous pilgrimage all over Greece. It has exquisite architecture. It was built in 1650 on the torn rock which, according to tradition, was miraculously split in half in order for the women, who used to light up the vigil lights, to be saved from the pirates. It is said that the icon of the Virgin Mary, dedicated to Zoodochos Pigi, was found by fishermen while it was sailing in the sea.

The colors of the wedding were white and mint .The wedding favors were decorated of white french tulle and handmade glass.I created little evil eyes in two designs, for men and women. There were decorated on the dinner tables for each guest, after the guests opened them, they could wear the evil eyes as long necklaces.

Stevi and Gio may your life be full of love, happiness, luck and passion!
